There is a lot involved in moving house. In addition to packing your belongings and valuables and filling moving boxes, you also have to deal with large items.
- Wrap your couch well in a sofa cover. Choose this instead of a moving blanket. A moving blanket does not offer sufficient protection. Grease, dirt or moisture can easily penetrate a moving blanket. That’s exactly what you don’t want!
- Wrap the legs of your couch well with wrapping film. This will ensure that they are also well protected against damage. Please note: do not use wrapping film directly on your leather sofa. Leather does not tolerate wrapping film well. Therefore, opt for a sofa cover.
- Once your couch is properly packed, transport it to your new home or storage space and unpack it again.
