For larger or heavier items, you often need a larger moving box. That is why we developed the XL moving box. This moving box is extra sturdy because it is made of double-wall EB cardboard.
The box has a capacity of 63 liters, so in addition to being extra sturdy, it is also larger. The XL moving box has a completely closed auto lock bottom, which means there is no chance of this box tearing, popping open, or easily collapsing. Because the box is self-closing, you don't need tape to close it.
ALLSAFE moving boxes are easy to fold and unfold. This makes them suitable for repeated use.

The number of moving boxes you need for a move or renovation depends on various factors. How big is your house and how many people live there? In general, the following guidelines can be used:
- For an apartment, 20 to 40 moving boxes.
- For a single-family home, 60 to 80 moving boxes.
- For a detached house, 80 to 100 moving boxes.

When comparing moving boxes, pay close attention to the quality of the cardboard. The thickness of the bottom and the handles are also important considerations. These must be sturdy enough to prevent tearing during the move. The folding method and how the box is closed varies greatly depending on the type of box. Do you need tape to assemble it, and is it possible to use the box more than once?
Are you moving directly into your new home? Then some packing materials are essential. If you’re not going straight to your new home and need to bridge the gap for a while, make sure to get a cover for your sofa, chair, and mattress. Protect sharp edges and furniture with stretch wrap or a moving blanket.
