ALLSAFE Climb4School
over allsafe
ALLSAFE Climb4School is an initiative by ALLSAFE Care. Through challenging expeditions, we raise funds for the ALLSAFE Schools in Nairobi, Kenya. These ALLSAFE expeditions aim to get as many children as possible into school. For €100, one child can attend primary school for an entire year, and for €200, one child can attend secondary school for a year.
2025 – Kenya, Safari Climb Trail. Amount raised: €285,000
The sixth Climb4School expedition was once again a great success.
During this special journey, over 100 kilometres were covered, starting with an impressive 10-kilometre stretch through the Kibera slum, where the group visited the ALLSAFE School and learned firsthand about daily life and education there. The journey then continued towards the Masai Mara, with the remaining kilometres walked across Masai farms and through the Loita Hills. Along the way, participants encountered gazelles, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and even elephants, complemented by an enormous diversity of birds and plants. This physical and mental effort resulted in a total amount raised of €285,000!
This amazing amount will be used for the continuity and expansion of educational projects, including the current ALLSAFE schools, youth development programs in Kibera, and the future expansion of secondary education.
2023 – Rwanda, Congo Nile Trail. Amount raised: €281,443
The fifth Climb4School mission took place from 30 September to 7 October 2023 in Rwanda. The hike, covering 124.9 km, started in Kamembe and ended in Gisenyi. It was a tough challenge with difficult paths through highly variable weather, storms, tropical rain, and intense sun. The trail alternated between stretches of rice fields and long uphill climbs.
What a journey, impressive sights, and an incredible result: €281,443 raised! With this amount, more than 2,810 children can attend school.
2019 – Great Wall of China. Amount raised: €115,457.96
A unique challenge of 100 kilometres spread over 5 days, climbing a total of 5,688 metres—a true test! The five consecutive days featured steep stairs and slopes, slippery descents, crumbling wall sections, many cliffs, and great stories. Five days later, after approximately 100 kilometres, the group finished with sore knees, stiff legs covered in scratches, swollen ankles, but with immense pride. A true achievement for all!
The most rewarding part is that this expedition raised over €115,000, helping 1,539 children attend school!
2017 – Kilimanjaro. Amount raised: over €145,000
In September 2017, ALLSAFE Climb4School went with a group of 25 participants to Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain (5,895 m). This trip included visits to the schools in Kibera and a 2-day safari and was filled with highlights! Seventeen participants reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, a remarkable 68% success rate compared to an average of 40%. In 2017, over €145,000 was raised, allowing 483 children in the Kibera slums of Nairobi, Kenya, to attend school for four years.
2014 & 2015 – Mont Blanc. Amount raised: €113,000
In both 2014 and 2015, Climb4School aimed for the summit of Mont Blanc. An incredible journey that the expedition members will not soon forget. In 2014, they unfortunately did not reach the summit, which made the 2015 attempt even more determined. In 2015, six of the 15 climbers reached the top—a remarkable achievement!
